  • For Technical Assistant : 1st class B.Sc (Physics/ Electronics) with one year full time Professional qualification or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organisation or 1st class Diploma (Instrumentation/Electronics) of at least 3 years full time duration.
  • For Assistant Executive Engineer : BE/B.Tech with 55% marks in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with two years experience.
  • For Medical Officer : M.B.B.S. with 55% marks from a recognized University having Medical Council Registration.
  • Nationality : Indian

  • For Technical Assistant : 28 Year
  • For Medical Officer/Assistant Executive Engineer : 35 Year

  • For Junior Stenographer : 10+2/XII or its equivalent and speed of 80 w.p.m in shorthand and 40/35 w.p.m in typewriting in English/Hindi.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit : 28 years as on 26.03.2015
Selection Process : Selection process to the post will comprise of a written test, stenography/typing test (qualifying in nature) and interview.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “the Director, CSIR-NIIST and payable at Thiruvananthpuram. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/PwD Category and  Workers in CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.
