UnitedHealth Group Designation Software Engineer - .Net Developer Job Description As an Applications Developer I, you would work as a part of a dynamic team with a focus on writing code and developing applications leveraging multiple tools, languages, processes, and technologies. Primary Responsibilities: - Develop new and/ or enhance existing application or system code as assigned or provided in technical specifications- Perform the day to day functions such as running of existing programs, applications, jobs, reviewing logs for errors, writing or editing software and code, performing testing activities, and updating documentation- Coordinate activities with other technical and functional areas as required- Work may include sensitive healthcare information, data, trends, or claims- 3+ years of Senior level Applications Developer experience- 3+ years experience SQL Server 2005-2012 (SQL, table design, views, stored procedures, triggers, etc. - 5+ years experience of . NET - ASP. NET and C# technologies, SQL Server, HTML/ CSS/ Javascript- Strong experience developing web based applications using C#Assets- Healthcare knowledge and experience- Experience with REST, SOAP, and Web Service oriented architectures- Experience with Silverlight and Telerik Grid Controls- Experience with Automated Unit Testing and Code COverage Tools like Fakeiteasy, NUnit, Code Colloborator, Security Testing tool - Fortify- Experience and success working in an Agile Scrum environment- Strong analytical abilities and problem solving and a dedication to high quality code- Very good communication skills, team oriented, and process oriented Desired Profile Mandatory skills: - Educational Qualifications: B.
